Dr. Diane Hanan

At age 15, Dr. Hanan discovered that the field of dentistry had the perfect blend of art, science, health, and community service. At 17, she entered the seven-year combined degree program at New York University. After receiving her dental degree, Dr. Hanan completed the NYU postgraduate orthodontic program and received her specialty degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

In practice since 1989, Dr. Hanan is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She has been a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society since 1989 and was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Dr. Alexander and Sylvia Goldenberg Award. Dr. Hanan has lectured internationally through the American Austrian Foundation. In 2011, the Dental Lifeline Network and New York State Dental Foundation recognized her for providing donated dental services to the underserved.

It is Dr. Hanan’s mission to administer the highest quality of care to her patients. Using the latest technologies and appliances, Dr. Hanan thoroughly analyzes each case and creates individual and comprehensive treatment plans. Working with each patient’s dental and healthcare providers, Dr. Hanan uses an interdisciplinary approach to give each patient well-planned and coordinated care. She believes in a holistic approach to life and dentistry and educates her patients on the importance of exercise and good nutrition, and their role in a healthy foundation.
